The King is Watching is a roguelike strategy and city-building game for the Nintendo Switch, released on July 29, 2026. Players rule a medieval kingdom where peasants, miners, and knights only work while the king is directly looking at them, forcing constant attention management across the realm.
Buildings placed around the castle generate resources like wheat, stone, and silver, while barracks train knights and archers and the mage guild produces defensive spells. Enemy waves besiege the castle walls between production cycles, and each run unlocks permanent upgrades for the next reign. It is a single-player game.
