Splatoon 3 is a colorful third-person ink shooter where Inklings and Octolings battle to cover the arena in their team’s ink. Set in the sun-scorched Splatlands and the chaotic city of Splatsville, it cranks up the series’ signature style with new weapons, faster movement, and the wildest Turf Wars yet.

The core 4v4 Turf War remains the heart of the game territory wins, not kills, so smart ink coverage and map control matter more than aim alone. New weapons like the Stringer bow and Splatana wiper change how fights play out, while moves like the Squid Surge and Squid Roll let you climb walls and dodge enemy fire with style. The story mode, Return of the Mammalians, takes Agent 3 through fuzzy-ooze-covered levels packed with creative platforming challenges, and Salmon Run returns as a frantic 4-player co-op mode where you fight off waves of Salmonids for golden eggs. Add in Splatfests, Tableturf card battles, and a buzzing lobby to hang out in, and there’s always something fresh to splat.
