Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is a 2D action-exploration game that marks the series’ return with a brand-new mainline entry set in 1499. When monstrous creatures emerge from the shadows and Paris is engulfed in flames, Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades, ventures into a dark castle manifested in the heart of the city to uncover the conspiracy beneath.

The game features a non-linear map spanning both the castle and the burning streets of Paris, with the legendary Vampire Killer whip serving as both weapon and traversal tool for crossing chasms and reaching new heights. Defeated bosses, including Death, Medusa, and Carmilla, are sealed into tarot cards that become Arcana, granting spells and special actions. With seven weapon categories, powerful relics, and upgrades hidden throughout the world, every expedition opens new paths through the curse.
