Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a puzzle platform game released for the Nintendo Switch on February 16, 2024. It is a remake of the 2004 Game Boy Advance game, rebuilt with new graphics and extra content. Donkey Kong has stolen all the Mini Mario toys from the factory, and Mario sets out across a series of themed worlds to win them back one stage at a time.

The game has more than 130 levels, and each level is split into two parts. First you find the key and carry it to the locked door, then you reach the Mini Mario at the end of the stage to rescue it. Switches, moving platforms, spikes, and enemies stand in the way, and later stages combine them in harder ways. This version adds two new worlds, Merry Mini-Land and Slippery Summit, and offers two play styles: Casual, which adds checkpoints and removes the timer pressure, and Classic, which keeps the original challenge. A second player can join in local co-op as Toad, and finishing a level unlocks its Time Attack version for faster replays.
