The Rogue Prince of Persia is a 2D action roguelite for the Nintendo Switch, released in December 2025. When the Hun army, twisted by dark shamanic magic, invades the capital city of Ctesiphon, the Prince fights to drive them out, and every time he falls, a magical bola around his neck turns back time to the morning of the invasion.
Movement is built around acrobatics, with wall running, climbing, and dodging flowing straight into fast, close-range combat where kicking enemies into walls and traps is as useful as striking them. Each run moves through procedurally arranged areas, and the weapons, tools, and medallions collected along the way combine into different builds. Between runs, the oasis hub unlocks permanent upgrades, new characters to meet, and further pieces of the story.
