Resident Evil Requiem is a survival horror game and the ninth main entry in the Resident Evil series. Set nearly 30 years after the destruction of Raccoon City, it follows FBI technical analyst Grace Ashcroft as she investigates a series of mysterious deaths at the hotel where her mother died eight years earlier.

The game returns to the series’ horror roots with a focus on tension and vulnerability, as Grace is an ordinary analyst rather than a trained soldier. Players can switch between first-person and third-person perspectives, exploring dark environments, solving puzzles, and managing limited resources against relentless enemies. A second playable character with a more action-oriented style offers a contrasting experience within the same story.
